Established in 1982, we are a licensed neutral Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier, NVOCC, moving cargo of any size from anywhere in the United States to worldwide destinations, with the fastest transit time. Offering both FCL and LCL services, we specialize in weekly LCL shipments to Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.
Through our sister company, Midway Ocean Agencies, Inc., we offer full service trucking, cargo palletizing and crating, container stuffing and stripping, and secure warehousing to serve all of your shipping needs. The warehouse, conveniently located near Port Newark/ Elizabeth NJ, puts the world at your reach. Our reliable shipment of your goods is based on generations of experience in the field. Company founder, Pablo Gonzalez, began working in a family owned business in 1968, in the operations department for a worldwide steamship line agent, based in Miami, FL. In 1972 Pablo began working for the first NVOCC to Puerto Rico, before finally starting Bestway Ocean Express Transport, Inc. and Midway Ocean Agencies, Inc. in 1982. In, 2002, Pablo’s son, Pablo P. Gonzalez joined the team full time after working summers for the company. For the last two and a half decades the Gonzalez family has provided secure, reliable, and timely shipping services throughout the world.
